Feed The Orphans 2.0

 Every Life Matters...

"Some problems can never be solved, some searches never finish and some journeys never end"

This is the never ending journey of Universal Help Club [God willingly], we have reached 250+ days of service now. First we would like to thank the God, for making this possible for us, then to every single person who worked for it and then to every single donor who made the fund raising possible and last but not the least, thanks to all our loving friends those who shared, promoted and motivated us.

We were silent for few weeks, but we never rested. We did a lot of small social works across Trichy. As we always say that staying together is the key, we hope and believe that you all will support us in future as well. With no more words to express, lets get into the details of this wonderful project.

 The Search

It was towards the end of November, 2020 when multiple cyclones were hitting Tamil Nadu and the end of the apocalyptic year 2020 was approaching, we planned to raise fund to help some orphans from or around Trichy. For some orphans, a day's good meal is still a dream in the rural parts of our country and we wanted to make it come true.

We kept searching for an orphanage in real need, we travelled a lot, sometimes just believing what is on the Google Maps. It was sometimes boring, sometimes hard and sometimes we had to make some sweet sacrifices in order to go on the search. Our only motive was to find children who were in real need, instead of helping those who were in a well to do orphanage. Finally our search came to an end on a fine day when we were introduced to Friendship Children Home run by Voice Trust in Siruganur through Manitham Trust, with whom we worked earlier .

Our Final Destination

 Siruganur  is a small village located along Trichy-Chennai National Highway (NH 45), approximately around 30 Km from Trichy. A beautiful village with a river flowing through its center and the Children home was equally beautiful with cows, chickens, cats and most importantly the stars on the Earth, the children. Being in a village the orphanage was not at all in the spotlight, feeding and providing 40+ children is not an easy task. Not many people knew it and not many supported it. So we planned to provide them with a good meal. 

It was a big day for us, we travelled for about an hour and had to walk some distance in order to reach our destination. We reached and the children welcomed us, we had some discussion and then we served the food there. This put a smile in the Children's face and they thanked us a lot and we dedicate those cute and heartful thanks to all those who supported us. This might be a small act of kindness but we are sure this would bring hope, joy, love, trust and be an inspiration and motivation for many including our own selves.
