 "Helping one person might not change the world, but it can change the world for that one person"

Introducing Project Uplift

Project Uplift is a new initiative of Universal Help Club. The basic idea of this project is the above quote. Helping a single person or a family by uplifting their economic and social standard. In this project we are trying to focus on a particular family which is suffering due to lack of resources to kickstart their normal life. We have planned [God willingly] to either provide financial aid or buy an utility like an equipment or a machine or something with which they can earn a living. Now lets look into the first project which we completed in this category.

Uplift 1.0

It was the start of the new year 2021, new year means new hope. We were doing some small social works when we got idea for the project Uplift 1.0. We thank the God at this part of our journey. We conducted a small survey across few localities in Trichy. We reached the place from where we started, Edamalaipatti Pudur on 20th January, 2020 (our 300th day). We came across a family, a mother with two children, of which one is differently challenged mentally. The father of the two was sick (with long term treatment). At that time we had no other thoughts but to help them. We raised funds with your generous supports. After having a conversation with the mother of the two kids we came to know that she knew stitching and sewing, and if she had a sewing machine, she can start a small tailoring shop of her own as she was a skilled tailor.

Our next work was to enquire the type, models and the cost of various machines. We asked her the model and the type of machine that she wanted and we bought it along with warranty for 2 years. We delivered it to her home and also provided her with some money as working capital. This is all about the Project Uplift 1.0.

We hope and believe that all of you will be there with us in our future projects....
