UHC : Under Lockdown

"Help one another in goodness and piety and do not help one another in sin and aggression"

Peace be upon you all. Its been a little long time since our previous update, we were busy with some important works. The second wave of covid19 has proved that things can always be worser than it seems to be. But whatever happens hope, belief and trust should never be broken. We should learn lessons from our mistakes. The second wave has pointed out the collective failure of our society. Even during these lockdowns and hard times, as UHC, we are always ready for helping people.

Online Assistance

Our government was working in full swing and there was little that we could do. But we saw people suffering and wanted help in finding out hospitals, beds and oxygen cylinders. So we along with a group called Covid Care Trichy stared online assistance for patience in need. We used our volunteers group for this support. Many volunteers supported us in doing this. We thank all the volunteers those who supported us. With the mercy of the God, we were able to help more than a hundred people in finding hospitals, beds, oxygen cylinders and blood. The most important thing to note here is we started this online assistance even before the Covid19 war rooms started functioning completely ( 18th May 2021). It was really good to hear people speaking to us in joy when they found help through us. It was not just about helping to find and verify places, it was about giving the care and hope they needed. All praise and thanks to the God.

 CM Cares 

As mentioned above the government was working in full swing. So we thought of doing some contribution. So we collected some money from our club members (not from public) and sent it to CM cares fund. Check the tweet below for more details.
