ஐயமிட்டு உண் : Feed The Poor 3.0

 "The best of all charities is to feed a hungry person"

Peace be upon you all. After completing the distribution of clothes on 25th July, 2021, we had some free time. As mentioned in the previous post, that food, clothe and shelter are the basic needs of life, we decided to buy food for the hungry people at the Central Bus Stand, Trichy.

Central Bus Stand : An Insight

Most of us are aware that Trichy is the centre-most district in Tamil Nadu. Central Bus Stand is the centre of Trichy, therefore a centre for the whole of Tamil Nadu. You can find different people here, from various parts of Tamil Nadu and from different parts of India. Central Bus Stand of Trichy is also located near Trichy Railway Junction, an important Railway Station in Southern India. So there are always hungry people here waiting for their buses and some staying here forever.

The Distribution 

After buying food for fifty people from a near-by restaurant, we went out to distribute it. From old aged people to children, from blind to people with disability there were different kinds of people who got benefited. We went from the entrance till exit. They were happy to receive the food from us. They told us that hunger is the worst form of poverty in our country. A roadside necklace seller came out of his way to gift us a necklace, we thanked him for his gift and told him to sell and take its profit. Later in a corner of the Central Bus Stand, there were blind people sitting together. We gave them some food as well. They became happy and excited. One of the guides of blind people from among them came and spoke out for the supporters and volunteers of our club, we recorded his video for you. It was a rare and unique experience for us.
