Relief 2.0 : Grocery Kit Distribution

 "Give from what you have been given..."

Peace be upon you all. All praise and thanks to the God. Our 19th project, Relief 2.0: Grocery Kit Distribution, was completed successfully on 8th April 2023. As a part of our ongoing efforts to help those in need, we decided to focus on the E Pudur area, the cradle of Universal Help Club (UHC), where it all began.

With the support of generous donors, we collected funds and were able to purchase 25 grocery kits. On the evening of 8th April, our project commenced. In order to ensure a smooth distribution process, we had issued tokens in advance to the beneficiary families. We were also excited as many volunteers joined us on that evening to make the project even more special. As beneficiaries arrived, we were delighted to hand over the grocery kits to 25 families in need.

The smiles on the faces of the recipients were heart-warming as they received the grocery kits. It was a humbling experience for us at UHC to be able to extend our assistance to those in need.

Now coming to the contents of each grocery kit. 

• 5 Kgs Rice

• 1 Kg Wheat Flour

• 1 Kg Rava

• 1 Kg Toor Dal

• 1 Kg Urad Dal

• 1 Kg Sugar

• 1 Kg Salt

• 500g Bengal Gram

• 250g Dates

• 50g Cashew

• 50g Turmeric Powder

• 500 ml Cooking Oil

• A packet of Semiya

• A Sarbath Bottle

We also took care of the quality and bought only good quality materials as we buy for our own use.
